Hand Lettering Examples

As a freelance lettering artist I had to be open to different styles of hand lettering. Art directors included examples of lettering styles they wanted for their designs. Lettering examples came from different places like magazine ads and consumer product labels. My job was to mirror or interpret their examples into lettering designs appropriate for their overall vision. I created lettering by using a variety of tools like digital and traditional brushes and pens.
