How To Make Marinara Sauce

I returned to school in 2012 to give my design background an upgrade. I studied web and multimedia design.
Below, one of my projects from my class. We were presented with a design challenge: use our phones to create an instructional video of a hobby like repairing a bicycle or applying makeup. We were instructed to post it to YouTube. I like to cook. I decided to make marinara sauce.
I combined hand lettered instructions with footage of sauce preparation. I recorded my spouse chopping and frying garlic and onions, opening then adding a can of chopped tomatoes into the garlic and onions, cooking it, running it through a food mill and finally, cooking it one more time to thicken it.
Later I created an graphic to overlay the video. I thought the whole piece would enhance the video experience.
