Alex and his spouse visited Bolinas California. It’s a relatively remote village north of San Francisco. Residents have a reputation for removing directional signs to Bolinas. Getting there requires some knowledge of the area.
The village has a museum, two churches and a fancy restaurant. It has a public park with a central fire pit. The post office was permanently closed in 2023 so mail delivery is limited. Despite its rebellious reputation they saw folks playing pickleball and parents taking their kids to surfing school.
