Lime Ridge Open Space Map

Alex and his spouse hike a three-mile loop through Lime Ridge Open Space. It is located between Concord and Walnut Creek, California, and sits next to a residential neighborhood. Walkers, hikers, and mountain bikers use the park from sun up to sundown. Coyotes, deer, turkeys, and snakes roam the park and hawks, eagles and a variety of birds float over head. Cattle help keep the grass short to reduce wildfire risks. At the highest point of Lime Ridge they enjoy views of Suisun Bay, the cities of Concord, Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill, and Mt. Diablo, the prominent peak in the region.
