An Unsung Architectural Mecca In The Middle Of The U.S.

I put out a call on social media to high school classmates. I asked them to tell me where they are living now. I got one response. After high school she attended college in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She received a degree in education. She loved the city so much she stayed. She became a school teacher, married, and raised a family. If not for her response I wouldn’t have thought to research the city and learn a few things. It’s an amazing city with a significant history. I’m grateful that my classmate responded. Who knew Tulsa has one of highest concentrations of Art Deco architecture in the United States? Did you know about God Mod architecture on Oral Roberts University campus? It’s an architectural style unique to Tulsa. Seriously, Tulsa is an unsung architectural mecca.
