Alex appreciates vintage neon signs. In this piece he illustrated signs in Los Angeles and other parts of the USA. The overall designs used geometric and abstract forms. They included icons related to the business or venue. Usually they run perpendicular to the building. Bright neon lights flashed or cascaded up and down the sign.
