Alex created portraits based on prompts from the 2024 Theydrawtober challenge by They-Draw.com. He used the prompts to draw food and baked goods to create a portrait of an inventor or innovator. Life experiences make a person. Accomplishments by the people he illustrated couldn’t be overlooked. He included a bit of their individual history with their portrait.
Before farmers markets there was the Green Grocer
Joe Carcione, The Green Grocer, told shoppers in his distinctive, gravelly voice what fruits and vegetables were bargains and which to avoid. His show was syndicated on more than 60 television stations. Alex watched his segment on the midday news broadcast from WEWS in Cleveland. In 1967 he got his start as the consumer’s voice when he began doing his own commercials.
