Hummus Board

I made a series of food boards. Food boards are similar to charcuterie boards. Instead of artfully arranged cheeses and cured meats on trays or cutting boards, these boards start with a spread. The spread can be a dip like hummus, guacamole or chocolate. Surrounding the board are assorted foods to dip into the spread. In my illustrations you’ll see what I’m talking about. Fruits, vegetables, salty snacks, and anything you can imagine that work with the spread sit within dipping distance. I illustrated the hummus board because it seemed like a natural example for a food board. I surrounded it with bright cucumbers, salty and crisp pita chips and snappy and sweet carrots.
